Enterprise Architecture and Governance
Silver Orchid has a history of supporting various working groups and governance activities to support Departmental mandates. Our team has on-the-ground experience supporting enterprise architecture and information management projects within and across federal agencies. Practiced at helping Chief Architects establish new working groups, identifying the subject matter experts (SME) to participate in internal work efforts, and engaging Senior IT Executives to gain advocacy and commitment. Enterprise Architecture is the means to evaluate, plan, and communicate the current and target state of an Agencies IT ecosystem; the EA team must use the most up-to-date framework, incorporate lessons learned, and foster communication and usage. The Silver Orchid Approach includes: Actively participating in program and investment governance reviews for both acquisition and architectural decisions, as well as performance reviews. Providing direct support and guidance to high-risk programs due to insufficient architecture and management practices. Assist in establishing new working groups, as well as subject matter expertise and guidance for complex stewardship issues. Supporting working groups formed to address consistency and quality efforts. Providing administrative support for a collaborative working group meeting.

Program and Project Management
Our approach includes analysis and support services to develop integrated master schedules, track schedules, document program risks and issues, manage gate reviews, and communicate the program's progress across an organization and up to senior leadership. Strategic Alignment / Portfolio Management

Our process includes establishing the sequence in which those goals should be realized so the organization can reach its targeted vision. We partner with agencies in establishing an integrated governance approach to IT Portfolio Management. Our crafted Strategic Portfolio Management process guides all levels of governance boards on how to collaborate on current strategic initiatives, budgeting, and managing risk to increase the timely delivery of an agency's goals and objectives.
Cloud Service Management
Cloud Based solutions incorporate processes that require coordination and collaborative services across an enterprise. Our processes accelerate a customer’s ability to identify interest in digital products or services. We evaluate and prioritize products with Senior IT Executives ensuring roadmap alignment. Develop implementation plans according to the strategic requirements for a smooth transition of services and provide customers with a methodology to improve service catalogs over a lifespan. Silver Orchid's repeatable processes for designing and delivering services work internally within your organization and across the agency to confirm that the Service Level Agreement (SLA), Operational Level Agreement (OLA), and Performance Measurement associated with a service meets your business needs. Ensure coordination and the service offerings align with your IT Strategic Plan. We support the development of Roadmaps for each service and coordinate service improvement across existing IT governance bodies. Collaborate with the PMO to ensure these new services meet the business and operational needs. Evaluate if there are gaps in the service and define new business capabilities to address the shortcoming.
